LUCY15

LUCY15 is the refurbishment of an apartment in a Berlin Altbau, with an enfilade of rooms leading to a window facing the garden. The original ceiling rosettes and stucco details have been restored, and parts of the old plaster walls are left exposed as traces of the history of the building.

A bay window, restored floorboards and a new bathroom with a sliding door complete the intervention. The floor plan shows how the historic structure has been adapted to contemporary use while preserving its character and proportions.
